Have you ever had a client hate you?

And I mean just haaaaaate you, hate the vibe, hate the situation y’all are in - Ain’t nothing going to make it better.

Because it happened to me not so long ago and let me tell y’all - I was shooketh.

The San Diego sunset was gorgeous, we had a this amazing transition from golden to blue hour and the location we were shooting at was damn near empty, but…

Sweet girl was NOT feeling the beach, the sand, the weird lady with the camera or Mom getting farther than 3 ft away.

So what’s a photographer to do?

Well, luckily for me this family also lives in my neighborhood which made it easy to offer a second shoot at a better time for baby girl. Round two we opted for a quieter, less sensory intensive location where we could start off slow and she felt safer to interact with me and my camera. After that we went for a walk along a beautiful trail and she even hopped behind the camera to catch a fantastic shot of Mom + Dad!

At the end of the day and the delivery of the gallery, the family had a ton of photos (of ALL emotions) to choose from and I have a GREAT story to tell!
